“El Mirasol” History

In 1992 we took the great chance and we opened “El Mirasol de la Recova” in the traditional and elegant Recoleta neighbourhood, close to the most important city hotels.

Two years later we were pioneers in opening “EL MIRASOL del Puerto”. A short time after, Puerto Madero became «the» Buenos Aires restaurant area by excellence and a binding tourist spot.

We have made great progress since our little steakhouse in Boedo. State-of-the-art technology was incorporated with the aim of preserving the flavor and excellent quality of our kitchen dishes.

The quality of our Argentine meat has been always highly appreciated worldwide. As soon as tourists arrive in Buenos Aires, they want to enjoy a good beef steak and to eat it where several generations of Argentines have done so. For sure, EL MIRASOL, a traditional Argentine grill is the best choice.
